Fresh Carrot Juice

One of my favorite drink is Fresh Carrot Juice and today without much to do I decided to make a carrot juice. It's fun and easy and i love the taste of it. Want to know how? Here's the recipe:

300 grms. of carrots
1 lt. Boiled Water
sugar to taste

1. Clean and peel the carrots.

2. Blend the carrots and add a little water if your carrots are not so juicy.

3. After blending, add the 1 lt. boiled water and leave for 15 minutes.

4. Drain it and and put sugar to taste and leave it to cool.

I'll also suggest that you'll put a glass of Fresh Orange Juice in it...it will taste even better. That's what I always do. Then when the juice is cool put it in the refregerator to chill. It's so yummy and healthy :))

Ice Cream Personality Test

Your Ice Cream Personality:

You are an incredibly modest person. You don't feel comfortable bragging about yourself... or even receiving complements.

You have a wild reputation, but you're not as wild as you seem. You take risks, but only measured risks.

You are a somewhat open minded person, but deep down you're fairly conservative. You don't like trying new things very much. And if you do find something new you like, you stick with it.

You are a natural multitasker. You feel alive when you're doing more than one thing at a time.

You can be a big dramatic and over the top sometimes. You are bold in every way

I like this test, it really says about ME. And it's true that I don't like someone telling other people how good I am and that I'm so nice and reliable. I don't know why but maybe because I don't want people to have a high expectation on me. I am like, "what you see is what you get" and that is it. No more No Less :))

Now tell me what do your ice cream preferences say about you.

The School Program Invitation

Last Friday, when Leonardo went home from school he brought with him the Invitation Card for the End-of-School Year Program. The program is suppose to be at the end of June which is really the end of the school year 2007-2008 but I told to the teacher of Leonardo lastweek that we will transfer to our new house at the end of this month and it will be 60 km. from school and that we decided that Leo will just have to stop going. I couldn't go back and forth a couple of times everyday to bring and pick-up Leo at school. It will be so stressful not only for me but for Leo too. And so the teachers and staffs of the Nursery School of Costermano decided that they will do the program on Friday, May 30, 2008 so Leo could still partecipate. It is so nice of them to do that, I am really touch for their gesture. I thought that Leo couldn't attend anymore for their program and it really made me sad to think about it because he is so excited everytime he came home to tell me the practice that they are doing for the school program. But now, Davide and I and Leo's Grandparents are so excited to see Leo perform at school. And we are really thankful to all the Teachers and Staffs for doing this and for making it earlier this year. More Power to the All of Them.

Men in Uniform

I have a confession to make....Actually I am more attracted to Men in Uniform like the Men in Army, Navy, Airforce and the Police. I like them most when they are in their tactical gear. They look so strong but so cute at the same time :)) It seems like when I'll be with them I am protected from the bad guys out there. And actually, I almost ended up with one of them but sad to say that the time and the situation didn't permit us to be together. But we manage to stay as friends and I am treasuring that. And to anyone who needs a gear as Police, Army and whatever combat gear you need just check out the LA Police tactical gear . They have anything you need for a combat with fast shipping, low prices and outstanding service. They help get all the gear that you want and need and of course, they are factory-authorized dealers for most of the brands that you'll see in their site. Get yours now.

The House with the Lake View

The real state agency is now putting this house, that we are in until end of this May, as For Rent. :( And today a German couple came with the agent to take a look of the house and I think they like it. They like it so much because of the view of the lake and of the garden. And they also like it because of the quite neighborhood. It's a private area so nobody could come in except for the homeowners. They asked us how much we were paying for the electricity, water and gas every month and we told them that more or less we paid €350 a month and they think that it's ok. I think they will negotiate now about the house rental which we paid €1,200 a month. Hhhmmm, I don't know if they could get this house lesser than that because we also tried to asked the owner before if they will lower the rental to €1,000 a month but he only told us that if we don't want to pay that price then we could go and find another one...Mean huh. We like it so much and we don't want to live in an appartment so we ended up paying that price. And now, in just less than a couple of weeks we will live and I'm really sad to think about it. This place have an amazing view and so quite and peaceful and I'm really going to miss the House with the Lake View. But on the other hand, starting next month we wont pay any rental anymore and that's a lot of savings for us. We will have our own house back, which is amazing, and we are already excited to live there. ;)

Packing-up things

In one of my previous entry I said that we will transfer in our new house on the first week of July but the contractor said that they will finish it this week and that the house will be ready next week. So, we decided that we will transfer at the end of this month so that we wont have to pay another month of house rental. Everything is ready in the house except for the living room though, but it's ok I think, we will just use the old sofa that we had while we'll wait for the new one to arrive. And we only have 10 days before we will transfer that's why we are now starting to pack our things so that everything will be ready by then. Although we don't have that much thing to be brought to the new house since this house that we are renting is fully furnished and we didn't bring any of our furnitures here. So, practically we only have our personal things to pack :))
So, that's the latest about us and I will go to sleep now. It's getting late here and we have to wake-up early tomorrow since right after we'll drop Leo to school we will go order the new sofa and then order the curtains and buy some accessories for the house. That's all...Goodnight Everyone :)

Lake Garda

Lake Garda is one of the major tourists distination here in Italy, including a number of exclusive hotels and resorts along its shore. It is located in Northern Italy, about half-way between Venice and Milan. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Verona (south-east),Brescia (sout-west) and Trento (north).
This is the sky-view of the lake (photo from Wikipedia)

The previous photos I've shared in my entry "Cruisin' Around Around Lake Garda" was taken at Malcesine which is part of Verona the south-east of the lake. Now I will share photos of the south-west part of the lake particularly in Desenzano del Garda in Brescia. This is a much bigger town than Malcesine and much more tourists and locals come here. There are a lot of fun things to do here too. Like:
You could just take a walk at its shoreline with your friends, your sweetheart or even just with your dog.

Or enjoy a ride with the Pedal Boats.

Or have a picnic at the shoreline and enjoy the scenery

or rent a motor boat and make a tour around the lake
And also, take a shopping for branded clothes at the shopping area at the center of the town. Or just take some coffe or icecreams at the bars located around the lake. See, that's why I like this place so much. You could just enjoy whatever you want to do and of course, it's near where I live. So, it's really an advantage for me :))

I'm Tired

I'm so tired today 'coz we brought our son to the hospital lastnight. He had a high fever and diarhea. We got scarred and so we decided to bring him to the nearest hospital and when we arrived, there were other 8 kids waiting to be looked at. And while waiting I always carried him on my arms since he didn't want to be put down. We waited for 3 hours and we arrived home at almost 1:00 AM already. But thanks God, there is really nothing to worry about my son's health and he is OK now. So, it was worth waiting to know that he is FINE.

I signed up for PPP

PPP means PayPerPost. It's a site where you'll get paid for sharing your opinion about the advertisers products or items on your blogs. And, I found out about this in a Free Traffic Site where I am a member. The moment I read on the services that they offer, I said to my self "Wow, this is a great opportunity for me as a Mom." That's why I signed up right away. I could just stay home, take care of my son and the house and on my free time I could do blogs and then get paid on it. Isn't that great??? Well, I think it is. Who won't say it isn't, it's a chance for all the busy buddies out there to have an extra income on their free time. And who knows, it will become your bread and butter sooner or later and be your own boss. You can earn as much as you can as long as you have that drive and determination to get what you want. And as for me, I'll do this as best as I could so that I could earn what the others are earning right now on PPP. When the time comes that I'll be earning enough, I'll surely help my partner paying our bills and of course saving some money for my child's future. I am really having this dream of being able to have a financial freedom and I believe that PPP could help me achieve that dream.
For all the bloggers out there, if you are still not a member of PPP, start moving now and Register here at payperpost.

House Renovation

As I had mentioned in a previous entry "Lake View" that we are doing a major house renovation on our previous house. This is a two story building and before we only lived upstairs because downstairs was an old store of Davide's father. Upstairs was 70 sqm, with 2 bedrooms, a T&B, a small kitchen and a small living room. And we thought that was very small for us. So, since the store downstairs was long gone we decided to have it combined together and have a house that we think will be big enough for us. Now it has 170 sqm.. So, here are some the photos of the labor in progress that i thought to share with you.

This is the house outside with it's big garden. The stairs going up before was located in this side.

This is the front view now...the gate and the fence are still in progress.

This is now the new stairs going up.

Going-Up

The new flooring on the upper floor (parquet)

This will be the new kitchen -- it's now in the ground floor :))

The new CR groundfloor

The T&B at the upperfloor

The T&B of masters bedroom-this was previously where the kitchen was located. So, could you imagine how small our kitchen was?:))

All in all we have 3 CR's now :)

This is now the master's bedroom, previously the living room.

And this is our previous room and now will be Leo's room.

We are going to transfer in this house in less than a couple of months and there are still a lot of works to be done. I just hope it will be finished then.

Piazza delle Erbe in the night

Piazza delle Erbe of Verona is the center of city life during Roman times. And now it continues its rules as a meeting place, home to the market and home of city's administrations.

It's where bars and pubs are located. Young and old people come here to meet old or new friends and have some drinks and a chat.

A Mother's Day Gift from Leo

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOMS IN THE WORLD!!!

When I picked Leo at school yesterday he gave me his gifts on Mother's Day :))

It's written in Italian so I'll translate it for you.

A heart for Mom :) It says, "In my heart, there is you Mamma"

Look how he drew my image :)) It's funny but it's cute.

MY 10

I was tagged by my friend on multiply.com Richette to write my Top 1o priorities. And I told her that I'll do this, so I better start thinking the 10 important person, things and etc. that I have :))

First and foremost :) my SON

He is my life, my everything. The reason why I continue moving on. I'll do everything for him to have a happy and comfortable life and for him to have a good future, with the help of his dear father of course :) He is such an intelligent, sweet and loving child and I love him sooooo much!!!

2nd is my loving companion "Davide"

The father of my son and our provider. A person who will do everything as long as his son and I will have a good and comfortable life. He is very understanding, so caring and gives me everything I want as much as he can even though i'm so bad with him sometimes. We are so lucky to have him. :)

3rd is my Family in Philippines.

Yes, it's true that they are always there when we are down and no one else to turn to. They are always ready to accept you even if you made mistakes. Miss them so much.

4th is my Friends.

A faithful friend is a sure shelter and whoever finds one has found a rare treasure. I treasure these 2, they are always there to listen and give advices and always ready to give you comfort. Thank you Lenie and Charissa for always being there for me.

5th is my computer.

Eversince I've been here in Italy. I become addicted to it. My life will be boring without it. I talk to my family and friends from Philippines and around the world with it. It helps ease the sadness of being away from them especially when I see them on webcam.

6th is my Cellphone

I use it to communicate with family and friends, of course. Chatting on messenger is not enough for me. I call my family in the Philippines with it once a week and my friends every now and then. And use it everyday to call Davide and of course, I used it in taking pictures :)) It has an HD Camera in it so the it takes good pictures.

7th is my Clothes and accessories

These are just some of my collections. I'm a fashionista :)) and I always make sure that I look good everytime I go out of the house. I like to mix and match the accessories that I have with my clothes.
8th is Picture Taking

I like taking pictures not only of myself ;) but most of all is of my son. I would like to capture everything with what's new with him. And also, I enjoy taking pictures of nature and beautiful views. I just like it. It's one of my hobbies.
9th is my Car.
Can't go anywhere without it. I never ever ride a bus eversince i was here in Italy and i don't know how to ride one. What a shame!!! :( I got used of riding jeepneys and tricycles in the Philippines but I don't know how to ride a bus here in Italy. :)

10th is I'm saving for my future pet :)

Would love to have a small, cute, little dog hehehe... I am still continue bugging Davide to buy me one and he said that he is still looking since it's hard to find a small dog here and it costs a lot too. Hopefully it will be sooner.

So, those are my 10 and now I'm tagging Janese, Stella, Leizl, Camela, and Doreen
