The New Energy Saving Vacuums in Town

5238dd240x180public
We all know that there are crisis everywhere. Fuel prices continue to increase and family have difficulty arriving their budget at the end of the month. That is why almost everyone are now looking for ways to cut their costs and pay less for everything. And my family is one of the million families in the world who wants to cut our budget so that we could save something for our son's future. If before we call a maid twice a week to clean our house now we stopped doing that. Now I avoid spending so much energy on cleaning and I clean the house on my own this time. I believe that I clean the house even better than the maid. I'm using a normal vacuum cleaner but it's always plug-in while using it and who knows how much energy they eat-up while they are ON. So now that I know about Dirt Devil , I have to track it down. It is the new Energy Star in town.

Dirt Devil has a better way to save energy. The new AccuCharge Stick Vac and Hand Vac use 70% less energy - making AccuCharge the first cordless cleaning technology to earn Energy Star approval.

Hhhmmm..isn't that a great news to all mom like me? With this new vacuum, I don't have to worry where to plug or unplug the old one and most of all it will even save me more time and of course it will help lower the bills of our electricity. Now that I know about it, I will ask my life-time partner to buy me one of this as a gift on my birthday. This will be a perfect gift not only for me but for the whole family.

A Big and A Small Kid

I have two boys in my life, my life partner Davide and my son Leonardo. But you know what is the funny thing is, they are like both kids. They continue teasing each other until one gets angry or they will play hide and seek or come and get me. Sometimes, they fight for one thing then I have to make them-up. I thought I only have one kid but I have two, a big one and of course the small one :)) But I don't mind it, I love seeing them having fun although sometimes it's so annoying when they will fight :) The good thing though is that they always make-up after they fight or let's say the big one always gives-up for the small one and that they are so sweet with each other after having peace.

The pictures below was taken early in the morning. They were still in there pajamas but then they were already ready to play. I love this pictures because it just shows how close the father and son are. They are the two boys in my life.

If you're looking for any police gear, the LA Police Gear have it all from head to toe. One of their products is the Surefire UA2 Optimus, its an adjustable-focus LED flashlight. And for anyone who wants the best, this is the flashlight for you especially for those who are control freaks. It offered the user so much functionality like never before. It is a pocket size flashlight with eleven settings and is ready to use in any situations or circumstances. It also has eight pre-set output levels from 2 to 200 lumens which is the maximum and it helps you always get ready in any crucial high-stress or self-defense situation. And for a tactical advantage, the Surefire UA2 Optimus is electronically regulated LED light. You can switch it to its stobe setting and stun the aggressor's eyesight with bright, flickering light designed to disorient and confuse him. For emergency use, you can also put it on SOS setting and stick it where a rescue passing plane or boat can see it. It still has a lot more functions that the other flashlight never have. Biking

Eversince we transferred to our new house, everyday I take Leo to the park or around the town with his bike. He likes it and enjoys doing it. Although he also likes playing in the house but he gets bored later on. He likes to go out more and have fun outside. Anyways, playing outside is healthier and good for the kids than just staying at home and playing alone. Fresh air is a lot better for them.

The House Test

What the House Test Says About You

You consider yourself important, but no more important than anyone else. You love attention, but you don't feel like you deserve more of it than anyone else.

You aren't against being community oriented, but it's not really your thing. You tend to prefer to focus on your family and not the neighborhood around you.

You are a social, friendly, and giving person. You like to bring people together and make them feel happy.

You take good care of your physical appearance. You dress well, stay in shape, and do your best to look great.

You are moved by romance and love. You are optimistic about people, and you love hearing about happy endings.

Hhhmmm... I agree with the result of this test. I am like what it says about me. You want to know what the house test says about you, too? Then try it.

Weekends - Dining-Out Time

Every weekends, on Saturdays or Sunday we always go out to have dinner outside either with friends or just the family. Yesterday evening, there were just the family, Leonardo, Davide's parents Lina and Umberto, Davide and I. We went out earlier yesterday 'coz we wanted to do another shopping for the new house before having dinner. We bought a new carpet for Leo's room, some toys again for Leo of course :), vases, some flowers and some accessories for the bathrooms. Then after that, we went to La Corte in Bussolengo, a famous restaurant especially for their pizzas. We were lucky that we arrived earlier at about 7:30 PM because if you'll arrive later than thatlike at around 8:00 PM, there will be a very long wait. Anyways, we had seated at a table with a good view to the garden. It would have been nice if there was a good weather 'coz you could eat outside at the garden but the weather this past week is not good...it continue raining and it's cool outside. After we seated, I asked the waitress if she could take a picture of us. And yes, she did take a picture. She is so nice and she likes Leo so much. So continue coming to our table to caress Leo's hair :)). Anyways, we ordered pizzas, and then some desserts after then coffee. And then after, we befriended a couple with a 4 yr. old son who were seated near us. They are so nice and Leo played with the boy named Filippo. Then at about 9:30 we decided to go home and on our way out we saw these groups of people in the lounge waiting for their turned to have an available table for them. Hhhmm...I wanted to tell them that next time come early so you could take a table a soon as you arrive but of course I couldn't do that...hehehe. Anyways, it's there problem not mine:))

But now, since I have a fast connection please other bloggers I am asking you to exchange links with me. I really will add your links to my sites if you'll do the same favor for me. :)) I hope someone will reply me on this request. Thanks and Happy bloggings everyone.

Create a Change - Make your Mark on Rd.com

One of the newest addition of Reader's Digest Website is Make Your Mark. It is all about people who dare to make a difference for the benefits of the others. It is about the story of people who make contributions to the community especially for those who are less fortunates. We know that most people nowadays only thinks the good for their own family or for themselves but there are still people who are welling to give-up everything just to help others. And it's so amazing to know that there are still people like them. And that is what the RD.com - Make Your Mark is all about.

One of my favorite article of Make your Mark is the Flashes of Hope. It's about a mother Allison Clarke who has a child that was being treated and survived cancer when he was just 20 months old. While having treatment for their own child in the hospital, they befriended with other family who lost their son with cancer. Then Allison wondered if the family had a portrait of him and the family realized that they don't have any picture of their son who had bravely fought cancer. So Allison, as a former model with the help of his husband Kip, knew that they have to do something because they know what is like to have a child in the hospital being treated with cancer. They organized a free photo shot for patients in a children's hospital in Ohio. Allison started the Flashes of Hope after seeing the childrens smile after having a stylist "make them-up" and a professional picture taken. It's very important for the children who survive cancer to have an image of themselves that is strong and beautiful -- a portrait that doesn't make them look weak and sick. And the value of the portrait is immeasurable for the family who have lost their child because it captures the spirit of their child in a positive, dignified and hopeful way. Now, the organization is photographing children with cancer across America. Flashes of Hope have a long term goal of photographing every single child diagnosed with cancer. You too can help realized this dream and make a mark by giving your donation. Visit the site of
Flashes of Hope.

There are still a lot of very inspiring stories at
RD.com - Make Your Mark . Read every single story and it will really help you realized how lucky you are to have a life that you have right now. And I hope that it will also inspire you to make a change and make a mark of your own. Visit also the Reader's Digest Homepage and you'll find a lot more of topics that will really interest you.
