You might be wondering who is Hannah Catharina. Well, she is a cute and beautiful daughter of a good friend and new Mom Josephine from Netherlands. Was born on June 11, 2008....just two days ago her complete name is Hannah Catharina Koenen. Cute name and I like it and you know what, I was the first one who see her picture...yeppeeeyyy I chatted with Josephine yesterday and she told me that she already gave birth and that I was the first one she showed the picture of the baby. Felt so lucky. I'm really happy for Josephine and Pim for their cute little angel. Congratulations for both of you and take care of Hannah. Lots of kisses for Hannah. Mwaaaahhhhh

As I have said, Parenting Pointers is my favorite favorite one especially in encouraging a child's imagination. As a mother, I am really trying to encourage my child on what he has on his imagination. I read him books and then I tell him to draw the things that he understand or the things that he imagine. And it really surprises me everytime he come out with something on his drawing. Although he can't draw that well yet because he is only 3 1/2 yrs. old but already he can draw something and that you'll understand what he wants to show you. And as I've read the article of the 5 Benefits of Encouraging your Child's Imagination I found out that first, it Develops the Childs Social Skill - as children they play pretend base on what they saw around them and through this they become more welling to play fair, to share and to cooperate. Second benefit is it Build Self-Confidence - children have very little control of their lives and imagining themselves as a superhero or something helps them develop thier confidence. Third is Boost Intellectual Growth - Using the imagination is the beginning of an abstract thought. Fourth is Practice Language Skills - kids do a lot of talking when they play pretend with their friends so this helps boost thier vocabulary, improve sentence structure and enhace communication skills. Last is Work Out Fears - playing pretend can help the kids work out their fears and worries. Reading a books to your kids everyday will really help encourage their imagination.

Chasing the Rabbits

Saturday lastweek, Leonardo, Davide and I went to the park to let Leo play with other kids. But the weather was not that good and we didn't find any other kids around but instead we found rabbits. They are so cute and Leo wanted to touch them. So he started to slowly came near the rabbits but they ran away. So he started chasing them. He was enjoying to chased the rabbits and then he asked his father to get the rabbits for him and his father told him to be so slow and quite to be able for him to touch the rabbits. And so Leo tried it and he really was able to touched the rabbit and giggled a lot for his accomplishment. He was having a lot of fun that he asked us to come again the next day. Of course we can't say NO. Anyways, the park is just near where we are living now. We can go anytime we want and meet some new friends too.

And if I have to choose my Manga Character, I will choose the name AIMI which means "Love, Affection and Beautiful". Why? Because if you have love and affection everybody could feel it and will give it back to you too and then there wont be any fighting and war anymore. We should give love and affection so that World Peace will be achived. HOPEFULLY!!!

Car Accident

Yesterday afternoon while going home we were wondering why there was a very long traffic in the highway. We waited for almost 20 minutes before we were able to passed. We didn't know what happened ahead of us. At about 15 minutes of waiting an ambulance arrived and then at about 5 minutes we were able to passed and then that's when we knew that an accident happened. I saw a woman lying in the street while the medics were trying to help her. It's so horrible to see with bloods on the ground. I just hope and pray that they will be OK. I was able to make a pictures but it's not realy clear because the police were signaling us to pass quickly so that the traffic will be cleared.

I really think so much about friends...I miss being with them. It's so different when you are in a strange country where you don't know anyone and it's not easy to find new friends since most people here try to look at your color. And until now, I couldn't adopt the surroundings that I have. I hope I could get it over with soon so I could really move on with my new life and through away the troubles that I always think of.

If only the pants could talk

Pants is one of my favorite daily wear. I have lots of pairs of them. They are comfortable and I could wear them with any of my shirts or tops. But there is this one pair that I really like so much. I wear it almost always everyday and one day my husband asked "Why do you always wear that pair of pants? You have lots of others of them". And I answered him that I like that particular one because I like how it fits on me and that it makes me feel so sexy. And he said "Whatever! you are sexy whatever you wear and if only that pants could talk he will tell you to give him a break and give the others a chance" :)) And added " I'm already tired seeing you always with that pants". And I just laughed at him :)) I like it so much and I'll wear it whenever I want to wear it.

In the new house

Finally we are now in our new house since Saturday. Although not all the furnitures arrive yet but it's nice already and we like it so much. Specially Leonardo who can now go back and forth from our house to his Nonni's house anytime he wants. We are now near from the City and everthing is so accessible now. Later on today, Davide and I will go to the mall to buy some new stuffs for the house and I'm really excited decorating the house. I love how it turns out.

But you know what, the night before we transferred something awful happened. A big emergency but I'll tell about it next time because I'm not yet ready for now. So, just wish us luck now that everything will be fine and will go smoothly.
