Concert at the Park

There was a concert almost a month ago, a Concert at the Park of our Town. I know this is a late posting already but I still want to share it with you. Anyways, the singer on that concert was a member of a famous Italian band in the 70's his name is Maurezio Vanelli. He is a great singer and people was enjoying his music even the younger ones. I went to watched the concert with my mother in-law, Leonardo and Davide. My mother in-law enjoyed listening the music so much because she remembered her time when she was younger. And I enjoyed it too even though I'm not familiar with his music but it's nice and good to hear. Here are some pictures that I managed to took that night.

On Vacation

My family is on vaction right now. We are in Isola d'Elba an island in the southern part of Italy. My partner's family have 2 condo units in Le Lecce Condominium and we'll stay here for two weeks. And I would like to ask SORRY to all people who sent messages on my shoutbox that I couldn't reply as soon as possible because my internet connnection here is very slow but I will really do by best to get back to all of you. And also I will post pictures here when I'll have time so I could share to you this beautiful island. Thank you to all who sent messages to me and again I'M SORRY for my slow reply.

The danger in antiperspirant and deodorant

I regularly used deodorant and my mother in-law always reminded me not to use it anymore and instead I should just use alcohol. Why? Because she has a nurse friend who told her that antiperspirant contain aluminium and parabens that could cause breast cancer and that ones it will penetrate in your open pores it will go through the breast tissue and it's dangerous. From that time on she stopped using the deodorant and antiperspirant. And she shared it to me. That's why she and I just use alcohol now to disinfect our armpit. But sad to say most women don't know this or they just ignore the warning written in the bottle of a deodorant or antiperspirant that we should not apply it in a broken or irritated skin caused by constant shaving.

Diavola

Diavola means Devil...scary title huh...heheh. Well friends, it's just my favorite Italian Pizza Flavor. Everytime we go out to eat pizza, I almost always order that flavor. I just love the chilly taste of its toppings which are the tomatoe sauce, mozarella, hot salami and red bell peppers. Hhhhmmm...it's so yummy and it's really HOT :). Want some? We Hire a Painter

I mentioned in a previous post that Davide and I were painting our fence but after 2 days for only about 30 -40 minutes a day we had back-pain. And we only made a very little progress...so we decided to hire someone to paint the fence. Yes, we want to save money but we don't want to get ill either so better get someone do the work. He can do the job faster and better than Davide and I. Painting is just not for us. :)

At the Park in the Evening

Two straight evening we went to the park where the 5th Anniversary of a Political Party held. The Mayor of Verona City Hon. Tossi delivered his speech when we arrived there the first evening. But actually it was only my mother in-law who is interested in listening to the mayor's speech :) Davide and I were more interested for Leo to enjoy at the park. There are a lot of kids playing around with their parents. And Leo played with us too. He had really a great time, it was the first time we went in that park and Leo like it so much there...he didn't even want to come home anymore. And for that we stayed at the park until 12:30 before we decided to go home. The second evening it was just Leo, Davide and I who went there cause my parents in-law were invited at a birthday party of their friends. We went to the park at around 10PM and stayed there for a couple of hours then Leo asked for a french fries but then the bar at the park finished their french fries already so we went outside and looked for an open bar which have french fries...luckily we found one and Leo was so glad and ate all his french fries...then we finally got home at 1 AM. I know it was late already but since it's summer we always go out in the evening and come home late also...almost everynight :)). Anyways, here are some of Leo's picture on that 2 evenings in the park.
